Tomislav Perko – traveller, speaker, author and bartender.<\/p>\n

Traveller<\/a> because in the last ten years I spent more time on the road than home. Mainly hitchhiking, couchsurfing, volunteering, sailing across the ocean, getting to know the unknown world around me with little money in my pocket.<\/p>\n

Speaker<\/a> because I held over 300 talks about my travels. On TEDx conferences, universities, festivals, libraries, companies, even in jail.<\/p>\n

Author<\/a> because I wrote and self-published two books.<\/p>\n

Bartender<\/a> because I love being behind a bar, making fresh juices, smoothies and cocktails, and because I opened ROOTS juice & cocktail bar<\/a> in Zagreb, on my 34th birthday.<\/p>\n

I adore playing badminton. If I can fall in love with a meal, I would be madly in love with a smoothie I make for myself every morning. I prefer listening to talking, even though it really depends on the talker. I call Zagreb my home.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
